Contents page annotation.

The contents page of Kerrang! has a column on the right of the page with the actual contents, which is not really typical of most magazines, as most have them on the left.

Most of the page is taken up by pictures, there are five of the same size that show important features, but there is one picture that dominates the contents page.
This is presumably the main feature of the magazine this week, and perhaps the person in the photo is also on the front cover, as is typical of most magazines.

There is an editors note on the top left hand side, again, its more typical of magazines to have these at the bottom. The colour scheme for the font is yellow and black, although this scheme is not carried on into the pictures, which makes the page look busier and colourful, as though the magazine is packed with features.

The headline "Contents" is at the top and has details such as the issue number and date of issue printed underneath. There is also a quote from a member of Metallica. This is used to grab the reader, and want to make them read on to the interview.
