Sometimes the main image is so big it covers the title, but in most cases the title is so iconographic, it doesn't really need to be seen to be identified.
These features are apparent in mostly all music magazines, and these are what makes them what they are.
- Large masthead that stretches across the page.
- Main image so big it often covers part of the title.
- One main image of artist(s)
- Selling line (usually an 'exclusive' and perhaps controversial to entice the reader)
- Smaller headlines of smaller stories in the magazine to show that the magazine is full of features.
